White House has to respond to petition to have Bieber Deported
A “We the People” White House petition on deporting Justin Bieber recently passed 100,000 signatures. Petitions that surpass 100,000 signatures require an official White House response.
A White House spokesman tells BuzzFeed the White House will be responding to the Bieber petition, saying, “Every petition that crosses the threshold is reviewed by the appropriate staff and receives a response.”

Re: White House has to respond to petition to have Bieber Deported
Wow. I thought you guys were being facetious in the other thread!
This is like Survivor. "Justin, the tribe has spoken, please pack up your entourage and head back to Canada."
CAN you revoke someone's green card for this stuff? I mean he's broken many laws, but... I don't know.
ETA: I mean, obviously, they WON'T, but I'm just wondering if they COULD.

Re: White House has to respond to petition to have Bieber Deported
There are petitions to disregard the petition to have him deported.
Petition
"Disregard and Remove The Petiton regarding the want for the Deportation of Justin Bieber It's completely unfair to deport Justin Bieber and revoke his green card. He is a young teen whom is going to make mistakes in life. He's 19 and is living under a microscope. He doesn't have a normal life and everything he does is automatically bad. Don't deport someone who was forced into depression by the media and is bullied everyday of his life for being successful. He hasn't done anything dramatically horrible. Deportation shouldn't even be considered for someone whom is growing up and learning about their life."

Honestly though, it's true. What a waste of time and energy. And not that I don't think he's a douche, but unfortunately that's not illegal and this country is filled to the brim with douchebags. I bet there's thousands more people with green cards who do ACTUAL bad things and get away with it everyday.

Yes, he's an immature little brat, but drag racing while drunk IS an ACTUAL bad thing, IMO.

At least he had the foresight to close off the streets... illegally, but still. And you know what I mean- murderers, rapists, human traffickers- those are ACTUAL bad things. Driving drunk is dangerous, reckless and stupid, but evil? Not quite.

I can't believe I am going to defend the idiot... but, didn't they prove that he only had like half a beer in his system and his car was not speeding? That it was all made up. I think he is awful but, to waste the governments time responding to a petition about this is as stupid as the amount of time we waste reading about him.

While I think this is hilarious I also think it's sad that you probably couldn't get that many signatures for a much worthier cause if you tried. Not that getting rid of Bieber isn't worthy but you know what I mean.
