Parenthood...SPOILERS
It's boring but I guess that's real life
Thoughts?
I was surprised Joel is moving out. I thought after watching the kids sleep he would have wanted what's best for the family.
Camille going to France now for 3 months. Zek better change or his marriage is over

I am also surprised that Joel wants to move out.
If my DH did what Julia did, I would be hurt, furious, and would need marriage counseling.
But break up my family, chuck the relationship and life DH and I have built? No! Without even trying to save the marriage first? There must be more going on, he must have more resentments towards her.
Did Zeke take Camille for granted, and that is why she is taking all of the trips?
I really liked the Amber and Seth encounter. I think John Corbett is great. I would like to see more of him.
I also think Ray Romano is doing a nice job with playing Hank.

I thought Camille said she was leaving IN 3 months (not FOR 3 months, she said she would work at the studio for 3 months to save money for the trip, I didn't think she said how long she will be gone for).
I was really surprised about Joel moving out too, seems so extreme.

I'm actually not surprised that Joel is moving out. I think that's the way most men would handle it. I think in general, men are less forgiving then women. When their pride is hurt its more about themselves then family.
I usually like Amber, but she really annoyed me last night.
And I love how Hanks roll is playing out.

I thought his reaction was way too extreme for the whole situation too and then last night, they were alluding to this. Julia alluded to the fact that Joel might be having an affair with his boss.

I agree, I am not liking Joel at all right now. I think the show is great. Amber was awesome in this episode. She is a really great actress. I love the Hank storyline too.
The Zek/Camille storyline is good too because it is showing the challenges people face as they get older and retire. They want different things.

Joel was going super extreme... why do that to his family? Especially if it is not 100%. Poor kids. I feel like he has to be cheating with Pete or something...
Also- Camille is annoying me. The way she came back from her travels wasn't "happiness" as Zeke explains it. To me, it's smugness, resentment, selfishness, passive agressiveness... etc. She is just being so irritating..

I was actually crying at the scene when they told the kids and when Joel left. I feel like Julia is being so passive. Why isn't she fighting harder. She was such a strong charcter when she was hot shot corporate attorney. I also loved that she packed kids up and went to her parents for support.
I don't mind Camille. I felt like the scene between her and the husband seemed real.
Can't stand Sarah. And her bs successful photo shoot.

Hate Sarah. Which sucks because I loved Lauren Graham in Gilmore Girls. But enough with her "I'll talk super fast and try to be witty" with every single character she plays. She's annoying.
And OMG. Now Christina is just going to flippantly open her own school?
The whole show--just unrealistic. Parents with a guest house, etc. Just dumb.

I agree! Camile is being so smug! I am hoping that the fact that her kids still need her (like Julia and Crosby) will add to that story line and she will realize that moving is not all its cracked up to be in her head.
I still think Joel is having an affair with his boss. He seemed like he was checked out from their marriage much before this episode...

I have never liked Camille. I always thought she was smug and not like able.
Joel... There is something else going on. I a sure Pete is involved. I feel like Julia is depressed and feels helpless and guilty. The whole scene had me in tears
Amber... I like her and I also wish they would bring back haddie.
I just feel like so much of it is unrealistic. I was buying into TNT whole struggles with finding a placement for max. It's real and I see it everyday at work... But then to jump to opening a school in time for max to go to high school?! Come on
And the photo shoot thing. And the millionaire. Come one. Why are guys so into her? Her character annoys me.
Never the less I am addicted. I love it. And they get so overlooked with awards.
