Stupid pumping question....

So when I went back to work, I was pumping every three hours because that's how often DD was eating. She is now going four hours between feeding so should my pumping schedule be every four hours too?

yes, i would adjust your pumping schedule
i always tried to keep it consistent with DDs feeding times

I would just continue doing what your doing..if you have surplus then freeze it.
I EP but do 2 sessions a day & get what my bsby drinks in a day (25 oz) I dont pump as she eats.

I continued with every 3 hours because all those pumping sessions would produce what DS needed for the day. On rare occasion if there was more than what was needed I'd freeze. I'd say to monitor the output and if you're overproducing, I would say match the feeds. For me I didn't always get the same amount at each pump and would need the collection of the day to make his quota.

I would keep with every 3 hours. This way you're able to keep up with the demand and like luvmyreese said; any extra just freeze it

totally depends on what you want to do. do you want to have enough to keep freezing milk? do you want to stop pumping eventually at a certain point? id say if you want to freeze then keep up with the three hours. if you want your lo to self ween and not overproduce then i'd say go for the 4 hours.

If the timing is working for you, continue and freeze the extra milk. If you'd rather go to 4 hours, that's fine too
