I can't say that I thought this was the best show ever made, but I was intrigued by it at the least.

Thoughts?

I was happy that the dog finally returned after being MIA all season Chat Icon

Yes, I watched all of it. I was pretty fed up with it about half way through, but too sucked in to stop at that point. I felt there were so many loop holes and things that just didn't make sense, but good for some "mindless" tv.

Last night especially - like at the end, when the husband and kids came back, no explanation why Archer didn't kill them, or at least tie them up or whatever - he takes them and then just lets them walk out? And when they made Dr. Sanders put that canister in by the fire extinguisher - wouldn't every inch of that hospital have surveillance cameras - especially with the Pres coming in? I know its just a tv show, but little things like that bothered me.

But, did you notice the outdoor shots of the hospital - it was EAB Plaza (or whatever it is now), in Uniondale

And yes, I was happy the dog came back - but where was he all this time? He just randaomly wanders back in? That's the stuff that annoyed me a bit.

I watched. I was not trilled with it but DH liked it so I watched.

I agree it wasn't the greatest show but knowing it was one season and I wouldn't have to watch more than that made it ok to watch.

I hated Sandrine. I wish they would have killed her off. She made Kramer seem so pathetic. She was going to kill him but he still saves her and wants to be with her.

I wanted Duncan and Ellen to run off together. They were way more into each other than they were into their spouses.
I can't believe he turned himself in at the end.

Yes, it was a 2 episode finale (it was the end to this story line. I don't know if it will be back in the future with another story line.)

Oh wow! That's cool about EAB Plaza.

Yes...Archer and the family really didn't make sense at all.

It's not known if it's coming back or not. I've spent the last 8 months working on this show Chat Icon won't know most likely until May.
And they filmed all over Long Island - eab plaza was the outside of the hospital, care place high school, hicksville train station, Eisenhower park.....

I had a feeling they were filming around our area, all looked so NYish to me. I am not from LI and been like 3 times so couldn't really put my finger on it. tnx for confirming.

It def wasn't a good show, but very entertaining. It gave me and DH a good laugh every week so we kept at it. There were more loopholes than storyline, less rational progression of events than the crazy cliff hangers each time it went to commercials, and def a lot of psycho characters.
mine and DH fav psycho character was first lady's sister, which is Mica from Warehouse 13. On that show she is a secret service agent so each time she did something insano on this show me and DH yelled at the screen "go back to the Warehouse!!!! Arty would be pissed!!!!" Chat Icon

I liked the main characters and I like the intrigue from the storylines about trying to kill the president, etc. But did they go into this show knowing it was only going to be 12 episodes (or whatever it was)? I feel like the concept of the family being held for such a long time was far-fetched and if they had known it was a half-season show they could have tightened up the plot.
