Khloe Kardashian filing for divorce
Not a shocker...
Is it really over? According to a new report from TMZ, Khloe Kardashian plans to file for divorce from husband Lamar Odom very, very soon. As in today, Friday, Dec. 13.
The site claims that the 29-year-old reality star will be citing irreconcilable differences in her divorce papers. Married since September 2009, the couple have been estranged for several months, thanks largely to revelations about Odom's drug use. See pictures of Khloe and Lamar together.

There seemed to be a glimmer of hope for the pair in late fall, but that glimmer has since faded. Kardashian has not been photographed with her wedding ring since Nov. 23, and has hinted at heartbreak in several recent (and cryptic) posts on Instagram and Twitter.
"She flip-flopped several times, but she can't imagine having kids with someone who refuses to seek help for his disease," a source close to the star shares in the new issue of Us Weekly. Adds another pal: "She's saying, 'I'm moving on.'"

Indeed, Kardashian seems determined to rise above. On Thursday, Dec. 12, just hours before TMZ reported on her divorce plans, she shared this quote via Instagram: "I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish."
She also posted a note about learning to love on Dec. 7. "Dear Human: You've got it all wrong," the note read. "You didn't come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you'll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of...messing up. Often."

I know this is not a shocker by any means, but I'm a little sad. I was pulling for them. Seemed like they had a lot of love for each other. I really hope Lamar gets the help he needs.

agree. esp since I saw a few previews of the show...saw it coming.
I feel bad too because I felt they def were the ones that would work but Lamar has to clean up.

This is beautiful.
And as someone who has struggled with the "unconditional love" of marriage it hits home.

I feel so badly for her..I was REALLY pulling for them. Out of all the celebrity marriages I know of, I WANTED this to work.
Thank god she didn't have kids with him.
And I am going to lay it on the line. It was a mistake to get married 9 days after you met. It just was. I am not in their position. I have never met someone that I HAD to marry in 9 days. I met someone, dated them, got to know them. On the 3rd date I KNEW I was going to marry him, But I didn't do it for 2 years. We dated for a year and were engaged for a year. I felt I knew him, but I wanted to make sure that I got to really know him.
It felt SO manufactured that they HAD to get married in 9 days. I feel that it was a production schedule. I feel she rushed the wedding for TV. I might be wrong but that's how I feel. AND yes, people who get married like this can and do have LONG marriages. I really do get it.
I just wish she had waited. And I am so sorry they are splitting.

It's terrible when any marriage ends. I'm not shocked at all, She deserves much better than him. Maybe next time date the guy more than a month before getting engaged.

I see the marriage ending not as a reflection of them not really dating, but of his addiction. SO many things could have played a role and I truly believe had it not been for that they would be together. I just don't see them not dating for long as the reason.

I loved them together and really hoped they would work it out. They seemed truly in love. It's unfortunate his addiction was the reason for it all.

I do feel sad for her, I actually think she is very likable (unlike the rest of them lol) and I think she really tried to compromise and make her marriage work, put him first. I think the love was there on both sides I think his addiction killed the marriage, sadly.

I think it was his addiction that ended the marriage not their short dating span.
Plus, they may have dated for a month before getting married, but they made it last 3 years. That says a lot about their relationship and love. If he didn't have these evil demons to deal with, I think they would still be together.
