I love the movie Chicago and have it on DVD. I'm also a dance movie/tv show fanatic. We went to see it on Broadway in August with Wendy Williams as Mama and I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
I thought Wendy Williams was awful and the woman playing Velma was overacting. There were a few parts I did enjoy but I think from now on, I'm going to to go to shows that I don't have any background on. No preconceived notions.
I haven't seen anything else recently but thought Pippin looked interesting.
