Flying with infant - Jet Blue?

I know this has probably been asked a million times before so I apologize in advance. What's the deal with liquids if you are using it for formula? Also car seats/strollers. I use the infant car seat and snap and go for my daughter. Do I have to check it or can I bring on the plane with me? I did not buy her a seat.

Flying with infant - Jet Blue?

I just flew jet blue for dds first flight a couple of weeks ago. Piece of cake and I asked a million questions on here. I was so anxious. I took rtf formula and premade bottles going down. Just rtf cans coming back. Gate checked car seat and stroller (snap n go). Wore her in the baby bjorn through security and on the plane when she fell asleep so I didn't have to hold her and my arm go numb.

My daughter's formula doesn't come in RTF. I was planning on just pre-filling water in the bottles and taking the powder in a formula dispenser. Is that allowed? It would be 8ozs of water. I was trying to avoid the whole packing an ice pack thing.

Yeah I avoided it too on the flight home. Plus the bottles got messy. No bueno.

You can take a bottle of Poland spring with you and claim it for the baby. I actually did this onto the way home bc my dh wanted water! Haha

You can bring whatever liquids you need for the infant. They even let us take through water bottles.

You can gate check your stuff.

You can do that.

I just bought water after security to avoid the chance of the bottle leaking.

You can bring the infant seat on if you purchased a seat for your DC - otherwise you can gate check it, along with the snap and go, at the gate and they will be waiting for you plane side at your destination.

It has nothing to do with Jet Blue. You need to follow TSA rules/guidelines. Kids under age 2 are allowed liquids. They put the cup/bottle in a machine to test it. It's very quick and they are almost always very nice about it.

Same thing happened to me in Phoenix - most places just do the quick test.
