I hate the lollipop. Makes it seem very juvenile/childish. Which is a bit disturbing to me.
But hey...it's hollywood right? Seems 17 there isn't the same as 17 anywhere else.

They are gross and unnecessary. IMO she's actually talented and I get that she wants to be seen as "grown up" but I don't think this works. These aren't as blatant but I feel like similar tactics aren't working for Miley.

I hate that young celebrities feel they have to do this to show they aren't "innocent" or "children" anymore. 
Why can't a sense of maturity, a focus in life, and a well grounded path be the hallmarks of adulthood these days?

AMEN! But unfortunately no one every told this young girls that. They let their biz manager tell them what to do. And look now everyone is talking about her so the vicious cycle will continue.

Couldn't have said it better. It doesn't make my skin crawl like some other young celebs though.

Eh. She looks fine. Pretty girl and these are anything but "topless"! She is completely covered up. That being said I think these are not the most flattering pics. Terrible makeup and hair.
