HIMYM Spinoff in the Works
A spinoff series for How I Met Your Mother is reportedly in the works at CBS, according to Deadline!
The series is unofficially being called How I Met Your Father and will be taking a female spin on the original hit show. It will “feature a new group of New Yorkfriends and chronicle a female member of the group’s quest to meet her future husband.”
If the series goes through, it is expected that the characters will be introduced in the HIMYM series finale next year and that the gang’s hangout MacLaren’s Pub will be featured on the show to link the two series.

Unless the new show features the Mother's story of finding Ted...there isn't any real connection between the two series' and therefore would really not interest me.

Wait... that's NOT what they're doing? Or is it supposed to just be... "meanwhile in this part of McLaren's pub..." and shoot to some random chick's story?
Either way, it's unnecessary and I don't like it. This is how things get ruined, people get greedy!
