I do think he has changed since hooking up with Beyonce. However, based on this singular instance...I don't fault him for the deal with barney's.
#1) the money benefits underprivileged children
#2) It's not necessarily the corporation's policies that are a problem but possibly the worker or management. I'm certain they don't have "make sure you stalk every black buyer and take extra care to be sure they aren't stealing" in their policy handbook. It's an issue that I think the corporation needs to have an opportunity to address and fix. There are many instances where a worker acts on their own instincts and not necessarily going with company policy. It's a training issue...look at how many moms get told they can't breast feed in an establishment only to have the higher ups have to come back and apologize and clean up the mess. Why? because their employees weren't trained / drilled on the issue well enough.
3) if people really knew the wrong doings of every corporation they did business with I guarantee they would be shocked. For instance the companies we discussed about a month or so ago who have ties to hitler, the nazi party and holocaust.
he may be different, he may be all about his money now...but he's not stupid and he's not an idiot. That's one thing I always admired about him. He didn't have to fit into the gangster persona to be successful in the hip hop industry...he was a businessman and self educated. He didn't have a high school diploma or college degree, but he's no fool.

I have an opinion and to me he's an idiot for the reasons I listed above and many more. I'm a hip hop head and that's what I think of him. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

No worrie, sorry. I assumed since you said he wasn't an idiot which I know I'm in the minority in not liking him. I didn't realize their were so many Jay Z fans on LIF  My original comment was just thinking out loud and jokingly responding that it's because people don't like him that they are demonizing him over Barney's.
Ha ha my opinions are invalid because I like Miley and think she is talented. So I'm used to it. When I said Kayne was smart,I mean book smart. His parents were teachers and focus on education. He started out as a producer and no one including Jay Z wanted to come out. He did it anyway and blew up, so clearly their is some intelligence somewhere in that crazy head of his. But as you can clearly see you can still be an idiot even if you have book smarts. Common Sense goes a long way. Lmao
