Masters of Sex 10/27 [spoilers]
I thought it was a very powerful episode and pretty much cried for the whole second half. Libby was heartbreaking but Masters' breakdown killed me. And the fact that he could do that in front of his secretary but not his wife, who he is lying to left and right? It's so sad.

Masters of Sex 10/27 [spoilers]
we just caught up last night
both me and DH were heartbroken esp when he finally let go at the end of the episode. DH kept saying how unfair it was of Libby to ask him to do the D&C himself.
I love Libby she seems to be the most well adjusted person out of all of the characters. the look she gave his mother who was downplaying sleep walking of Bill as a boy was priceless.
I am also very conflicted about Ethan. one minute I hate his guts as he is such a damn assho!e another I am kinda ok abt him. Also I was sure Vivian was using him to get rid of her virginity as she always saw him as sweet. I was shocked when she went all single white female on him

I cried so hard during this episode. I think the acting is just excellent! Next week looks really good too. Can't wait! I'm obsessed!

I see that as her first calculated move, that she's coming into her own after being constantly disappointed and repressed by him. He really is such a d0uche to her. It makes me dislike him, until I consider the time and the terrible things that happened to him. And then he's fantasizing about his secretary and I hate him again. 
I am so excited for Allison Janney having a larger role too, I LOVE her and I'm looking forward to her interacting with Masters.

I saw the first episode and really liked it but haven't watched it since because i forgot when/what channel it was on.
I was surprised to learn this is based on a true story.

Definitely resist. I made the mistake of researching the real people after the first episode and spoiled some things for myself down the road. Such a good show. I am engrossed!
