Re: Glee tonight??
I thought it was a good way they did it, No they never came right out and said how he died, but there were some innuendos like with Santana and Sue- Sue said something along the lines as it was a meaningless and something else and for what... Also in the beginning when the brother said it doesn't matter how he died it matters the life he lived..
Anyways I cried like a baby and thought it was well played out. Hopefully it will help at least one person understand how drugs not only effect them but also the ppl that care about them too.

Re: Glee tonight??
I thought I wasn't going to like the vagueness, but it actually was very well done.
Im half a box of tissues down and have a simmering headache from crying. It was very sad. I was wondering where Lea Michele was about mid-way through. It must have been rough for her.

Re: Glee tonight??
just got to watch it ... extreme sadness. very well handled by the writers
Lea performace was all emotion.. she was quivering & heaving under the thin blouse... i felt for her she lost weight..... and Mercedes belted out with all emotion.... wow
Drug addiction can hide in plain sight, and so sad because Cory had so much going for him....Sad... just plain sad

Re: Glee tonight??
I thought they handled it perfectly
And I loved the line, everyone wants to know how he died. Who cares. Lets talk about how he lived
Or something to that effect

Re: Glee tonight??
I finally got to watch it last night.
I think they handled it perfectly and tastefully. I read somewhere that it was Lea Michelle who wanted to do the episode to help them all. And you could see all the true emotion so I believe that they didn't have to re-shoot any scenes.
And I feel like Kurt's opening lines summed it all up and that was all they were going to address:
"who cares how he died..." "the funeral was for everyone but this is just for us" "and we are all going back, well those of us who can"
After that it was just a tribute, what it was supposed to be.
