Me too! They showed them all crying by his locker and i started crying too!
I am DVRing it and watching tomorrow night while DH is at work so I dont feel judged hahaha

I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it on hulu. I am not sure if I am going to like they way they did the episode (episode starts 2 weeks after his funeral), but I am sure they will do it justice. I plan on having tissues at the ready.

I read that it starts with them getting the news of his death, not two weeks after the funeral? (Not sure if maybe both could be true?) Either way... I'm pretty sure I'm going to be gutted by this.

As much as I think watching them hear the news would put me over the edge, I think I would have prefered it bacause thats what would make sense to me. This is one of the artciles I read about the tribute though

oh good lord, this is the first episode of Glee I have EVER watched and even I cried through the whole thing.
I cannot begin the fathom how the cast, especially, Lea Michele, got through the filming of this.

I went into this episode a little pissed off Ryan Murphy weren't using Cory's real death as the reason for Finn's death. I really thought Ryan Murphy was doing a major disservice to his young impressionable viewers by not acknowledging that Cory died with a hypodermic needle, spoon & champagne bottles in his room
With that said; I think Ryan Murphy did an excellent job showing how you affect the people you leave behind. I really thought this episode was going to glorify him and make him a hero, but they didn't! I also thought the PSA message at the end of the episode was great.

I missed the first few minutes. Did they not give a reason as to how he died at all?
Where was Britney? I missed the last few episodes of last season and I know she was pregnant in real life but did they write her off the show?

Considering they only filmed it in the past few weeks, I'm going to say she was too pregnant to film. Just my guess. Quinn was not there either, though.

Considering they only filmed it in the past few weeks, I'm going to say she was too pregnant to film. Just my guess. Quinn was not there either, though.
i figured Britney was too pregnant. I completely forgot about Quinn!

I totally agree with you. I thought it could have been a real teaching episode and I kept wondering if they would acknowledge how he died. I thought the last scene with Mr. Schuster totally summed it up and was a great ending. I loved it showing all the different sides of grief. I did miss Quinn and I thought Lea Michelle would have been in more of the show but it came out just right.

I haven't watched this show in years but I sobbed like a baby the whole episode. Finn's mom - ugh that was heart wrenching.
I think it was better they kept it vague about how he died. The PSA they did at the end of the show addressed how Cory died and I felt like that was enough.

I thought that was a real tasteful way to do it. I can understand why they didn't go into detail of how Corey really died. I have an aunt who was an addict and passed away, many people look down on it. Almost as if to say 'she deserves it, she did it to herself.' Some people don't see addiction as the sickness that it really is.
With that being said, I'm glad that they didn't state the cause of death. I would have been upset if they made it a car accident or something along those lines.
I cried my eyes out the entire time! I heard on the radio that they didn't have to re-do any scenes - that was raw emotion.

I held it together until the scene with his Mom. That was rough :(
The cast members really did a great job remembering Cory! It must have been so extremely difficult to film that episode. Especially for Lea.

I also thought it was well done ! I had a constant tear running down my face the whole time! With the hardest being the scene with his mom and with lea! How she did that scene, I have no idea ! And had to wonder how much was acting on all their parts and how much was real! I bet it was more the latter!!
I felt like the episode was too quick! I wanted more! But that had to be long enough for the poor actors, I'm sure!
I am also glad they didn't make up some fictitious death for the character and the vagueness of it was perfect !
I wonder why Quinn didn't return!?!? She was the only one!?! And I guess Brittany was understandable!
I didn't know that he was originally in the first two Beatles episodes but they edited them out!
Well done Glee!
So sad for his glee family and his real family!

Oh man that's when I lost it. Her line about always being a parent even after your child is gone just gutted me.
