Convertible Car Seat Rear Facing Ques...
Did you tether when rear facing? We have the Britax Marathon and my friend is telling me to hook the tether to the track on the front seat. I watched a video and see how to so it but DH said the manual doesn't say to do it that way???

We have the Britax Marathon as well, and we followed what the manual said. It is not tethered to the front seat. However, according to the Britax website, you can tether it, using one of two methods:

Yes we used the Swedish method which says use the front seat frame or track. Is that what you did? We are taking to fire dept to be safe.

where do you live? Since there are no firemen that are trained - he had no right to state that.
Britax are rear tethered, but it is important to understand that while it is recommended to do, it is not absolutely necessary. We do use the method of going to the seat track in the front seat. We need more information though - what car do you have?
