I'm so late to this show...just finished episode 1.......it's worth it to stick with, right?

It was kinda depressing Chat Icon but seemed really good.

Stick with it...but avoid newspapers, pop culture sites and all forms of social media from this Sunday night and for a few days after!! You don't want to be having the ending spoiled before you get really into it!

Enjoy the ride!

I am!! I've stuck my head in the sand so I wont hear anything.

I thought about the first episode a lot today - which means it stuck with me. Which means I sorta am into it. I'm always behind in these things. Chat Icon

You have a long way to go. lol The first 2 seasons are slow -- they are slowly setting up the character development and plot.

Season 3 moves a little faster and season 4 is beyond amazing. By season 5 you are salivating for the next episode because it is just that good.

As far as I'm concerned Walter White's story is the greatest character arc and development in the history of television. I will be sad when the series ends on Sunday because it's just such great writing and storytelling.

Good to know. It did seem slow - like even some scenes i felt just dragged

But everyone keeps telling me it's a must watch.

My brother just started walking last week since he is out of work due to an injury. He kept texting me that I over-hyped the show while he watched the first 2 seasons. I kept telling him that this is a unique show in how it sets it up. Nothing is done without purpose and there is tons of symbolism and metaphors through out the show. The creator slowly draws you in and hooks you.

Today my brother made it to the end of the episodes available on Netflix and was texting me frantic because he can't watch the next few episodes yet. He was going on about how GREAT the show is and he needed more. Chat Icon

Haha, The same thing happened to dh and I. We found the first 2 seasons so boring, then by the end of the episodes on netflix, we were jonseing for more. We ended up catching up on optimum on demand. Tell your brother to check free on demand, if he has optimum.

My DH and I just started it a few weeks ago too. At first I thought it would be depressing but it is sooooo good! We are up to season 4 and I want to slow down!

Re: so..Breaking Bad.

We also caught up to six seasons in the past month or so. At first I did feel it was slow as well, but I was very interested in characters and their relationships with each other so that it wasn't as bad.

There were times I had to stop watching because you're absolutely right, it felt depressing at times. Sometimes I could watch four in a row and other times, 2.

I'm caught up now and my only regret is that I have to wait until Sunday to see more, and that it will be the last episode!
