Apple picking tomorrow - Hank's, Milk Pail, or Seven Ponds CHOSE HANKS!
My whole family is going apple picking tomorrow (6 parents, 1-2 grandparents, 9-month old, 4yo , 5yo, 9yo, 11yo). We're trying to decide where to go. We've gone to Milk Pail the past few years. The older kids like to go to some farm right next door (I don't think they're affiliated) and blast corn out of cannons afterwards . We're thinking of trying out Hank's Pumpkintown. As tomorrow may be the only nice day of the weekend, do you think it will be ridiculously crowded? Also, it says no strollers in the orchard. Does anyone know if they enforce that? B/c SIL needs one for the baby. Last option is Seven Ponds. I've only been there once, and it was 4 years ago, but maybe that's a good option? Any opinions? Thanks!

We go to the Milk Pail. It may be crowded but it's so big I don't think it will matter. Try and get there early. I brought a stroller in the past and no one said anything.

Unfortunately, early isn't an option. Originally, our plans were to go Sunday. But since we did a fairly last-minute change to Saturday, we have some other obligations and can't leave until 12.

We went to Hanks last year and it wasn't terribly crowded. It's a GREAT place, our new favorite!

Re: Apple picking tomorrow - Hank's, Milk Pail, or Seven Ponds - CHOSE HANKS!
So we decided to try out Hank's Pumpkintown and it was great! They did enforce the no stroller rule, which was a little tough on my SIL. There are so many play things for the kids that are free. (We didn't go in the maze park that they charged for.) I would say I like the apples at Milk Pail better, but it's hard to compare because this season may be very different than the past few years so maybe it would have been the same there. I know there were many people there, but it didn't feel more crowded than any other place we've been to. The corn was delicious. And when we were done apple picking, the moms took a quick trip across the street to Duckwalk Vineyards while the dads stayed with the kids . I know Milk Pail is technically not much further, but this felt like a quicker trip. Loved it!
