I loved David Tutera. But splitting up those twins is a disgrace. Give me a break......who cares what embryo belonged to whom. They came into this world as a family.....as siblings. You have to keep them together!
ITA this story makes me so sad for these babies and so disgusted by these adults. I've always been a big fan of David's show but I think it will be harder to watch it now without thinking about this situation.

I know I'm the minority - but if the babies are only 3 months old, they don't know what's going on yet.
I don't think it would be better for them to be together with one parent particularly if this divorce gets ugly and their way of thinking is "this is my son and your daughter' rather than OUR children - KWIM?
They are probably better off in the long run, being separated now when they are way too young to know what's happening.

I know they are young but I will sy I have pics of my twins holding hand it he hospital
At 3 months they smiled at one another

I just read about this in people yesterday. So sad to hear they're breaking those kids up. They have the same donated egg right? so they are 1/2 siblings. Why now allow them to get to know one another? From what I remember in the article; they broke up right when they found out the surrogate was pregnant. So emotionally they must not have ever formed the connection with the child that wasn't there's? that's the only way they could possibly do this. can't believe this is a real life parent trap!

from what I understood they are not twins in the true sense of the word. they are half siblings b/c they have the same donor eggs, but if each one has different sperms from two different men, they are not necessarily twins. they were carried in the same uterus though.
I imagine they've had all the genetic and paternity tests to be sure of whose child is who.
this is really a bizarre situation. I love David Tutera.
