Candy crush question
I was speaking to someone today about CC and she told me that she never had to pay .99 to advance to the next episode so she is basically on Level 37 and hasn't paid once. I don't get it. I am on Level 350 and I remember that I had to pay to advance in the beginning before I got a Facebook acct to ask for tickets. I am confused!

I NEVER pay for anything of FB. EVER! MY CC app is synced in with facebook and I always get friends to help me advance of get lives and extra moves.

Really???? Maybe I am losing my mind but I had to pay or get tickets from my friends but back then I didn't have FB so I paid! Am I the only one??!!

"Jailbreak" literally means to get yourself out of Apple Prison :)
Apple has their devices "locked down" so to speak. You cant buy/download/use ANY app that is not approved and gotten through itunes...basically. And yes, this MIGHT include some apps that will allow you to "cheat" on a game.
If you jailbreak your device you can download/use ANYTHING you can find on the web. And there are a ton of REALLY cool apps Apple does not want you to have ...like "free" tethering to your cell phone to use the cell phones internet.
So if you have the know how you can jailbreak your Apple product. Its NOT for amateurs and you can seriously damage your phone/ipad.

Before I connected to facebook there is a way to advance w/o lives or paying.
You need to beat 3 challenges...however you can only play 1 challenge per day, so it takes 3 days to advance on w/o facebook or paying!

I dont fully remember...nothing too crazy, just beating certain levels again, or in a certain amount of moves or getting a certain amount of points I believe.
I dont think this appears as an option once you are connected to facebook

If you don't have it connected to Facebook you can do 3 "quests" to advance to the next episode.
Basically 3 challenges. You gave to beat them to move on for free.

When I first started playing I was connected to FB and the challenges weren't offered.
Then I started getting annoyed bybtge constant requests on FB so I disconnected it from FB.
Lo and behold, the next time I finished an episode, it gave me the option to do a quest to advance.

Me too. I have never paid and I am not on Facebook. I am only on level 70, so I don't know if I just haven't gotten far enough to have to pay $$$

It used to be if you weren't logged in with FB you could only get so far without playing. A few updated ago they started offering the quests instead of having to pay.
