Lamar Odom
I heard on the news this morning that hes been MIA for about a week now... Has anyone heard about this? They were saying that he has a bad coke addiction too.

I didn't heard that he's been missing.
But I did hear recently that there's been trouble in the marriage because of drug use.
Very sad if all this is true.
Maybe he checked into rehab?

I heard he's been missing for 72 hours and that Khloe had kicked him out last week after a failed intervention. I also read/heard that he's using crack cocaine. I hope he gets the help he needs. I feel bad for Khloe, I always liked her.

Not the be cynical, and Khloe I like the best the of the bunch, do we think he wants a a divorce and the Kardashians are making this whole coke thing up?I mean I suppose he would've denied it if that were the case but wouldn't the NBA drug test? how could he be doing crack cocaine and in the NBA?
I feel like he was cheating and the Kardashians will use "drugs" as the reason they split bc it is less embarrassing then cheating?

I think it's a bit farfetched, even by Kardashian standards, to make that up. Articles that I have read clearly state that he was clean during this past NBA season, but began using crack cocaine once the season ended. I really hope he gets help and their marriage can survive.

I wouldn't put ANYTHING past the Kardashian family. This didn't occur to me, but he definitely doesn't seem the crack cocaine smoking type. Wouldn't a 2 year long addiction (even with some breaks in between) take a toll on his body. He's a big guy and an athlete at that- wouldn't there be some signs?

I think if he wanted the divorce he would come out with a statement against them.
Basically saying, I'm not a drug addict, I just want a divorce.
Why would he keep quiet about something like that?
I truly believe he has a drug problem.

I 100% believe this. Its all about how you spin the story. And thry are notorious for spinning the story so they allear to be the victim... let me count the ways:

Oh I know there are high functioning addicts, but I don't know- I didn't think crack would be something a HUGE guy like he could be addicted to secretly. I wonder how long it takes before it starts eating away at your body? I would've expected some weight loss at the very least. I still don't know if I'm buying what they're selling.

I read somewhere that there was a clause in the pre nup that if he cheated Khloe would get tons of $$$$$. Maybe they are doing some sort of agreement, lamar agrees to drug issue instead of cheating and Khloe gets less $$.

I am so sad for Khloe because she is my favorite and I truly believe her and Lamar are in love.
I don't think this was made up by the Kardashians because E has nothing on their website regarding this story. TMZ is the one reporting this. Kardashians control E so if they really wanted to put this story out, they would.
ETA: Lamar's Dad is a recovered addict so I don't think this is far fetched at all. Many people who have Parents' as addicts usually battle some kind of addiction in their lives. So sad. I hope he recovers and that their marriage will be saved as well. The articles that TMZ posted are really sad. Especially the ones where they describe how bad the hotels rooms are after Lamar has stayed in them. Drugs really put people in a bad place.

Lakers will take Odom on if he goes to rehab.
The L.A. Lakers told Lamar Odom that if he goes to rehab immediately and kicks his prescription drug habit, they’ll save him a spot on the team.
Lakers manager Mitch Kupchak reached out to Odom’s agent Jeff Schwartz to say the team and its owners consider Odom to be part of the family, Radar Online reported. They want Odom, who won two-time championships with the Lakers, to be the team's sixth man.
“Lamar is really resisting rehab, even with the Lakers’ offer on the table. He doesn’t want to miss training camp. Lamar thinks he can kick this on his own,” an insider told the gossip site.
The news of the Lakers' offer comes after Odom temporarily moved out of the home he shares with his wife, reality star Khloe Kardashian, as the rumors of his drug problem started to surface.
Although the public first learned of his drug problems earlier this month, there were whispers within NBA circles earlier this season that Odom was hooked on Oxycodone, an opiate that is twice the strength of morphine.
The L.A. Clippers allegedly refused to resign the player because of his drug use even though NBA drug testers took at least six urine samples from him last year, and more than one tested positive for the powerful painkiller. He managed to stay in the league by showing a valid prescription for the drug.
Lakers management learned of Odom’s troubles after his current and former teammates from the Lakers and the Clippers staged an intervention with him at a Los Angeles hotel on Monday. But, it failed.
“It’s very hard for him to admit that he needs help,” said the insider
So it seems he has failed drug tests in the past. I'm sure it's pretty easy for him to get a script written.
