Ben Affleck is the new Batman.
I LOVED Christian Bale as Batman. But I remember seeing Michael Keaton as Batman and enjoyed that too. Curious to see how Ben does in this role.

Re: Ben Affleck is the new Batman.
Don't forget, when Heath Ledger was announced as The Joker, people were up in arms over it.
And look at what an amazing job he did with that.

He really was, but look how well that turned out! I think that role broke him in such a way he never recovered since he was a method actor. Could you imagine being The Joker the whole time they were filming
I'm sad Christian Bale couldn't do this one & The Justice League. I get it that he made a deal with Chris Nolan to do the trilogy & be done with the death of Batman in Dark Knight Rises. But, he couldn't do it for his fans?
I just hear Christian Saying "GOOOOOOD FOOOOORR YOOOOOOUUUU!"

Christian Bale was an awesome batman! Can't picture Ben Affleck. My DH who is a comic book dork was very disappointed in this news haha.

I think Ben Affleck is a much improved actor. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Eh. People had the same reaction when Mark Ruffalo was chosen to play the Hulk, and people loved him. This is going to be like 13 years after Daredevil, I'm sure he's grown as an actor--and he's probably working with a MUCH better script.
