True Blood 08/11 - spoilers

What did everyone think?

I thought it was pretty boring and predictable. The whole Terry thing. I mean, I really liked Terry, but didn’t understand why they spent so much time on his funeral. I did LOVE Lafayette’s eyelashes. He looked so pretty.
And I loved when all the vamps were in the sun…So cool…But, like I said, very predictable.
There’s only one episode left, right?

i actually liked it. i know other people said the Terry thing was boring, but I liked the closure it gave Arlene and to show even tho he was the town crazy, he was a good guy. ditto Lafayette eyelashes lol and grandma...is that a boy?? LOL and i loved how Lafayette taught Terry how to make fries.

i thought it was predictable too, but i actually thought Jason was going to kill Sara. Now I'm mad he didnt. And i love how Steve Newlin yelled out I always loved you Jason Stackhouse! LOL

was it just me or did the marine who gave Arlene the flag look like the guy who killed Terry?

I was crying for half of the show because of Terry's funeral. It definitely was a little much.
I was so mad when Jason didn't kill Sara at the end. He should've given her to the vampires. I guess they didn't want to get rid of her character yet.
The whole walking in the sun was pretty cool, but how long will it last?? I feel like Bill has been walking in the sun for days now!
I still don't know how I feel about Warlow. I think next sunday (season finale) he will die. My guess is that the vampires will get greedy and want to walk in the sun more and drain his blood.
I can't believe how fast this season went already.

I agree about Terry, it was a little much, almost seemed like it was a filler for the episode.

I am really not sure what this is setting up for, I am thinking maybe the woman who claims Jason might be the villain for next season?

In the beginning I was such a Sookie/Bill fan but they really don't like each other any more lol.

I cant believe jason didnt kill her or give her to the vamps. Im sooo pissed. I hate her character... she had no problem killing him and torturing those vamps he should ha e taken her out!

I enjoyes the terry funeral in terms of it being part of the episode. I cries suring it and laughed with layfayette when he taught him to make fries. And i loved his eyelashes! He did look so pretty! And i loved when sookie spoke it made me cry when she remembered what terry thought of arlene from the first moment he saw her.

I loveeee bad ass eric! And i hated that he left pam again...

Omg when he ripped that guys genitals out i was like holy shhhhhh that guy deserved it! And then when bill stepped on him...... ugh i flinched both times like damnnnn that was brutal!

Looks like I'm in the minority but I really liked it.

Did anyone see the "behind the episode" feature afterwards? I think it was Alan Poul that explained that he did the Marine funeral as a homage to his own father, who never got to be honored that way.

Except for some of the bit characters telling stories, I thought it was emotional and well done. When Alcide came in, I wondered if Sookie was going to use him as her reason to stay human, since she already struck out with Bill and Sam.

Also, I didn't like that the blond chick lived but I'm really glad Jason didn't kill her. That would have changed his character forever. I did laugh at how he was acting, walking around with Eric. I loved that interaction with them and that Eric told him to have nice thoughts about him when he gave him his blood.

I honestly thought that was the best episode of the season.

Just wanted to add how the hell is arlenes baby still so young? I feel like she had him 3 seasons ago??
