Gap Kids...is it just me or is everything awful?
What is up with Gap? I have long written Gap off for clothes for me (they have changed, not me!) but Gap Kids was always adorable. However, I haven't been able to find anything for my toddler girl there the last few seasons and I was a very loyal customer. There were a few summer dresses but they shrunk and the quality wasn't up to par.
Am I alone here?
(not that this matters in the grand scheme of things, but I'm up late )

I haven't liked much the last few seasons. Some of the baby stuff is cute, but we are way out of that section!

Really? I loveee their stuff. Got my dd tons of summer stuff and already placed a big order for winter stuff during the friends and family event.
Im into dressing my dd (14 months) in adult like clothes not cutesy baby like clothes (no offense to anyone its just not my personal taste) And im into the neon colors which are big now.

I was a big fan of their winter coat for both kids.
I won't be getting their fall or winter cloth dresses again: they did shrink a lot after washing (and I bought a size up from what DD normally wears). Their summer dresses worked fine.

I'm not crazy about Gap Kids. The sizing is very strange and I don't find it be worth the money. I get better stuff at Old Navy- essentially the same thing.

I think their selection is awful too lately. Personally, I'm only finding things I LOVE in the nicer department stores and I get a lot from Ralph Lauren.

I buy their jeans for DS cause they are the only ones that will fit him. He's super skinny but long. I don't mind paying a bit more cause he wears them all the time.

I never liked them. I rarely find anything I like for DS. I also think they are very overpriced.
For some reason their pants are huge on ds. I bought jean shorts there last yr, had to keep changing them and finally got my then 2 yr old 12-18 month. They were still too big. This year, (he is 3) and they still fall off him.

Really? I love their clothes as well. Then again I'm not into dressing them into 'baby' clothes. I prefer the bolder colors and styles they carry.
I get a majority of DS's clothes from there when they have sales.

I love their baby girls stuff. I never looked for older stuff though. I found them to run really big which is annoying, but it seems to wear well. I usually only buy clearance b/c they are $$ especially for 2.

Exactly my experience with Gap Kids. I found plenty for DD when she was young but nothing for DS. And the pants fit my kids horribly. I have 2T size that my MIL bought my son last year that still don't fit him waist wise but now are too short length wise (he's 3).

Yes i only buy when they have sales and i mostly shop online since online always has sales when the in store doesnt.
Im also not into the preppy look.
I loved their baby stuff! And most of my dds look this summer was gap. Their stuff does run a lil big but thats fine with me because it lasts the entire season.
Old navy is good too...
Im not into childrens place at all. Their clothes run sooo small and dont wear well. They shrink after 1 wash and lose shape and just dont look good after a few washes.

i love their PJ's...and the baby stuff is adorable. I will buy DS jeans, plain tshirts, and the occasional sweater there - but i will only ever shop there with coupons!!!

I like their play clothes for DS. I have been disappointed though in the girls selection, I like to buy gifts from there and haven't seen as much that I liked - and the stuff I did kind of like was very hard to match.

I love their clothes and pjs for my DD but i dont like any of the new fall line they have out now. I didnt even buy her much summer stuff from there.

I get my girls a lot of jeans and dresses from
Gap. Not a huge fan of their shirts. I do great at the outlet and we have a cc which earns rewards. We just got $140 worth of clothes for $34 with shipping because of sales and rewards!!!

I love Gap Kids. I get a lot of basics from them, especially jeans. They fit DD great. I also get a fair number of tops from them. I like to mix and match different brands. I don't always love everything from them, especially their dresses lately. I'm not a fan of the mod look that they seem to be so in love with lately.

I received a few baby gifts from there. Their soft stuff is amazing (ie sweatshirts), but their dresses and general clothes are so not baby-friendly. DD screams whenever I put her in an outfit from there bc they are stiff, seams at weird places, etc.

There are a few staples I always buy there like pjs and lightweight sweats. I find the similar pjs from ON get holes in them. Then I grab a few things off the sale rack.

From what I've heard, Old Navy is the store that's keeping the entire business afloat. Maybe they are focusing the quality and styles at Old Navy and giving up a little on Gap. I actually wonder how much longer Gap will be around. I agreed they have nothing lately, and shockingly I've found some real hits for DD at Old Navy.
