How do you remove breast milk stains from your clothes? Do you wash normally or use something in particular that you find very helpful? I've heard Oxyclean is very good. Also, what do you do for baby's clothes?

I feel like I'm living in a sitcom with all the breast milk, pee, poop, and throw up stains. I'm trying to figure out the best way to clean the stains from mine and DD's clothes. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I have not yet seen breast milk leave a.stain (opposed to formula) but I use Shout spray or stain stick on stians & let it sit for a day or to when I do a laod. I then wash in All F&C. Baking soda in the wash is good too.

Agreed. Food and poop occasionally stain, but BM and BM spit up have always come right out.

BM, spit up, and poop never stained for me. Just when I would use the Lansinoh cream, that stained my tees and tanks.

I always add a bit of oxy-clean to my laundry and some vinegar in the rinse cycle and all the breast milk marks have always come out...if something really seems stained, you could soak it in oxy-clean and it will most likely come out or at least lighten.

BM totally stained my clothes--I found using Oxyclean (there is a baby version), and then letting clothes dry in the sun (NOT dryer) removed the stain very well.

same, that's why i switched to coconut oil originally. occasionally poop stains but if you get it out immediately with oxyclean baby, its fine.

I've gotten bm on so many of my clothes and my dds clothes and haven't seen it stain yet. But maybe it depends on the fabric.
