No countdown and no baby!
I've been thinking about you all week wondering what you were up to.
Don't worry I've been there and I know it totally s*cks!!! Did they discuss inducing or anything with you? They didn't even mention it at my 40 week visit.

I have a non stress test Monday and then she said she will then want me in later in the week to talk about inducing. Needless to say I am NOT a happy camper!

Well here's hoping that you don't make it to that appt for the non stress test and DEF not the discussion for inducing!!!
I can say that the weekend I went into labor I was SO sick!!! I threw up a couple times and then it was like my insides cleaned out the other end (sorry TMI). Then the day my water broke (that I didn't know though) I felt like COMPLETE A$$!!!!!
FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

I just wish I knew what I was looking for cuz everyone keeps say oh trust us u will know! Nausea subsided to period craps so needless to say I'm confused lol

I felt the same way you did and guess what? I didn't know when it happened and could have caused serious problems. I didn't know my water broke (slow leak) and didn't go to the hospital until 18 hours later!!!
I will say this with the contractions. Even when I was hooked up to the machines and induced I didn't know if they were contractions or not. For me it wasn't bad period cramps, it was more like the worst gas pains I've ever had I still didn't know that I was truly in labor until I realized that they were a few minutes apart.
Try and stay home as long as possible. I know they say that you shouldn't be able to talk through your contractions but that might not be true. I was laying in bed in lots of pain and was able to talk/scream through the contractions...sometimes it was talking and sometimes it was screaming. Turns out I was 5cm. It was the most intense pain but I was still able to talk. Try and make it until the pain is so bad you think you need the medication to help with the pain.
Good luck!!!! And if you think you are in labor, time the contractions...that will be a clear indication. But if they aren't strong you may not even be dilated and be sent home which is almost just as annoying.
