JFK Jet Blue .... Flying with an Infant
DD will be 12 months when we fly to FL next year. She will be presumably drinking whole milk. Is there anywhere to buy milk AFTER security? Like McDonalds?
Will Jet Blue offer milk on the flight? I looked at their site and milk is not listed as one of their beverages.
This will be at JFK, flying Jet Blue.

Yes - there are places to buy milk after security. Keep in mind it is usually2%.unless you buy a glass from a coffee place.
They usually only have milk on planes for coffee. Some flight attendants will bend the rules though.
You can also bring milk with you in a cooler.

Re: JFK Jet Blue .... Flying with an Infant
I don't remember whole milk most place carry low fat if theydo. Can I recommend an alternative? When Dd#2 turned one we went to disney and flew jet blue. Our ped felt that for a vacation low fat 1 or 2% just for yhe trip was okay. We did order milk for the room and got low fat milk out. For the flight I brought whole milk juice boxes. Have you tried those? You are allowed to bring limited amount of drinks thtough security for infants and young kids. I brought like 3 of the boxes with me. They are shelf stable so you do not have to keep them cold. Stop and shop carries whole milk ones but then if younwant organic try organic valley or horizons. I think there are some other brands that are organic. You DC could either drink straight from that or you could poke a whole and sqeeze it into a bottle or sippy. Then you would have it in case you cannotfind the cold milk you are looking for. Jet blue only had milk for coffee if I remember.

There are places to buy milk after security before you get on the plane. I don't recall if they had whole milk but 2% is fine for a day.
We bought one of those horizon milk boxes and a stick of cheese for dd the last time we flew($$$). You can also bring the milk cartons through security as pp said. I usually get the organic valley boxes through amazon.
We didn't even know we had some in the diaper bag until after we went through security and no one said anything.

You will def be able to get milk. If its not whole I would just give low fat. It won't hurt them.

Yes, and you can even bring your own through security. The Jetblue terminal has a large area to get food with a Dunkin and lots of other things. I remember I was impressed that they even had yogurt. I do not think you can get milk on the actual plane. I think it is only creamers.

Re: JFK Jet Blue .... Flying with an Infant
Just did it this past weekend on Jet Blue.
1. You can bring your own milk through - they may test it (they did in NY, but not in FL) 2. Yes, Jet Blue has milk - it is the Hershey's boxes and they will give it to you. We even asked for milk before take off and then when they started service. 3. When we had an unexpected landing in a different airport and had to sit there for 2 hours, we had a VERY hard time finding milk in the airport. (This was Palm Beach, FL though). Thankfully we found a Starbucks and they were able to give us milk.

You can definitely bring your own. I've found when flying with an infant and toddler, anything goes!
