Reccomend your Convertible Carseat!
Please recommend your convertible carseat. Also, do you think it's better to get a seat that holds up to 55 lbs or one that carries up to 70lbs? I would also like a seat where if my dc falls asleep their head wont tilt downwards...unless that is inevitable with any seat? TIA!

Re: Reccomend your Convertible Carseat!
I work for an agency that has a seatbelt program and was told that it is best to use the one for up to 70 lbs. It is safer with a 5 point harness WE have the Britax Marathon for dd (who is now 4years) and plan on getting it for my DS when he is born.

I love the even evenflo symphony 65. It can be rear facing up to 40 pounds then forward facing with harnesses up to 65 pounds then a belt positioning booster up to 100 pounds. The head rest is adjustable so there's little worry about growing out height wise. It is easy to install and super easy to adjust because there is no rethreading to adjust the harnesses. There is one recline option for rear facing and two for forward facing. It has an expiration of 8 years after manufacture so theoretically it is the only car seat you'll need.

I have an Evenflo. Actually 3 of them and we love it. Goes to 65 I think. DS is very comfy in it, fits in our cars without us havign to move seats etc.
We tried a few others (GRACO, Britax) they were too bulky for us.

We have the graco mysize 70 and really like it. Easy to install and adjust, affordable, and not bulky at all.

I also have a Britax marathon (I think it's the marathon) and if I had to do it over again I would get 2 of the evenflo's. I just like it so much better!

We have the Graco my ride 65 and I love it. It actually gives us more room in the seat in front of it than our infant seat did. It has a nice head support and DD's head never falls. I am overall very pleased with it.
