Bf moms - not enough milk?

Dd is 5 months old. The past two night at her last feeding (which is when she takes the most) she would suck, take herself off my boob and scream. Then she would repeat. I ended up giving her a 2 ounce bottle and she seemed happy. Is it possible she wasn't getting any milk and she was frustrated?? She ate a decent amount before this happened. She has also taken all her other feedings with no problem.
Should I just automatically try a bottle after her bf session at the end of the night?

Edit to add I just returned home from 5 days away - I pumped while I was gone but maybe it's effected my supply? I have more milk plus that I started, is there anything else I can do?

I would give your body time to adjust back since you were away. Maybe pump after you feed DD. And eat oatmeal! Do you do compressions while you feed and pump? That really helps me too.

When I felt a dip in supply, I took Fenugreek supplements for a week and it really helped! Also, I would try to let her nurse longer at that last session or pump right after, to signal to your body that it needs more milk at that time.
