Toddler beds

Anyone have advice how to transition my two year old from crib to toddler bed, we got him the race care bed.

We made a big deal about it for him that he was getting a "big boy" bed. He was so proud. He didnt have a toddler bed, we had converted the crib into a full sized bed (although now I will be getting a toddler bed due to limited space in new apartment so that should be fun). He was really fantastic. I thought for sure he would be getting out of bed every 5 minutes, but he didn't. We had rails on it so that helped. I did get advice that if he did get out of bed, dont say anything, just put him back in.

I will say this, once he was done with crib, getting him to nap has been practically impossible!
