pumping spinoff
if im with my kids, they are pretty much on my boob 24/7. if im at work, i pump three times (to make 15 ounces). i also pump at night before they go to bed to make another 3-5 ounces, depending. that adds up to 20 oz but i need more.
when can i squeeze in another pump? we sleep together and they are bfing all night/morning long. maybe during their morning nap? i dont want to affect my supply for their next meal (im afraid if i'm too "empty" they'll get frustrated).

I pumped first thing when I woke up. They are better at getting milk than the pump.

Do they go to bed much earlier than you? Can you pump again before you go to bed for the night? Unless they are very very young still, I'm assuming any nursing during the night is more for soothing purposes.
Or I might suggest moving them out of your room/bed and doing a MOTN pump. But of course if you prefer to cosleep that will be hard.
I would slip in a pump during their nap. Assuming you start when they go down, you will be fine to nurse when they wake up (as long as its not a super short nap).

They go to bed anywhere from 7-9 but lately it's been around 9. I have to pump around 10:30 bc by 11pm im exhausted. So i dont even have too much time to MAKE milk haha!!
We cosleep. Before bed and at night, they are nursing a lot. I have two desperate boobie monsters. I dont know what to do but I really enjoy snuggling with them, so I dont do anythign. On the weekends, it would be ideal if i could pump just once during a nap where theyre both sleeping... this seems very unlikely though :(

Is your DH home on the weekends? Can he take them for a walk after a feeding so you can sit and pump on Saturdays/Sundays in a somewhat relaxed situation? lol
You are doing an amazing job with what you're doing now. Nursing twins, working FT, cosleeping...no sad faces...you should be very proud of yourself!!!!

Agreed! Remember that you're making milk fastest right after a feeding. Maybe try pumping even a half hour after they finish a feeding. I usually had DD in the excersaucer and sat near her while I pumped.

I believe it. I have always hated pumping! I did pay the price bc DD didn't get many bottles and eventually refused them altogether. 99% of the time, I don't mind that one bit!

You make the most milk in the morning, so I would pump right after their morning feeding. Kudos to you for BFing twins and working FT!
