Since we introduced solids, ds has been having crying spells due to gas. Aboit 20 min after he nurses, he is inconsolable. I try to burp him right after but sometimes nothing comes up. Its also hard to burp him well if I'm by myself because I have his sister too. He never had issues as a newborn, any ideas?
We gave him gripe water once and he spit it up whoch I guess was good bc he got it out. I just burped him today and he spit up again. Its just odd that this issue is starting now.

Well, my DS has ALWAYS had gas, but I did find that after it had gotten better, it did get worse with some solids. I am keeping him off of the gassy veggies for now- sweet potatoes, squash, broccoli. We are sticking to oatmeal (it should absorb gas), fruit, carrots, string beans and peas.
It also sounds like he may be too full. I know my DS will spit up if I give him even a little too much, or food too close to nursing/bottle. What is your schedule?

use the drops rather than the gripe

gripe is more for upset stomach

I think the veggies cause DD farts a lot after eating them. But if he is uncomfy I would try the gas drops. Are you EBF? Have you had anything different to eat lately or of you formula feed could try the sensitivity formula for gassy babies

What are you feeding him when he gets like this? Specific foods or just evetything?
How long has he been eating solids? This is the first this is happening?
Something has to be different in his diet?
Is it pureed with water? Really watery or really thick?
