Going back to Enfamil from Gentlease...

Going back to Enfamil from Gentlease...
Has anyone switched back to regular Enfamil after having a baby on Gentlease? My doc told us to go ahead and put my 3month old back on Enfamil (since he is showing no signs of gas anymore). I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Did they transition fine? TIA

Going back to Enfamil from Gentlease...
I I transitioned back when my son was 4 months old and regretted it almost right away. The gas came back as did the screaming and sleepless nights. I tried again when he was 10 months old and he did just fine. Also did just fine going to whole milk at a year old.
Personally I would wait. Why the rush. He isn't going to shiw signs of gas if he is on a formula to prevent and help with it. It is the same price as regular formula so I would wait until his stomach and digestive tract is a bit more mature.

if my doc said that i would say if he screams again u r babysitting lol
it took 4 diff formulas,reflux meds baby yoga and many sleepless nights to get my son to finally calm down
if my ped said to try to get him off the gentlease i would say no

you can transition back but I would wait until at least 4mths b/c their gut should be better able to tolerate the full lactose load of the formula
