When to Have Ent. Come to Party?
What time should I have the entertainment group come to my dc's birthday party? The party is from 2-6. Should I have them come around 2:30 ? Or closer to the end to try and avoid as little interruption of lunch as possible, say at 4:30 ?

If your party starts at 2, I think all your guests would have eaten lunch before coming to your party. I would start entertainment at 2:30.

DD's birthday was from 2-5. I did food 2-3, entertainment 3-4, and dessert 4-5. I'd say around 3 or 3:30. Also keep in mind those who may show up late.

I would say around 3:30 this way u can put food out from 2:15-3:30 then clean up while the show is going on and set up cake so that when the show is over u can go right into cake..

My cousin had exactly this timeline for her DS' 1st birthday. Her party started at 2, entertainment came from 3-4:30, worked out fine.

I never have them come at start time. Usually an hour into the party.
