when taping 2 shows on DVR (Verizon FIOS)....
it wont allow me to watch a 3rd show live.
but i am wondering if anyone knows if it will allow you to watch a show on the DVR while 2 live shows are being taped??

Yes you can watch the dvr'ed shows while 2 shows are taping you just cant change the channels onto something else

You can watch a show that you recorded a while ago while 2 others are recording. Just can't watch a "live" channel while taping 2 others.

I'm almost positive that you can.
You definitely can w/ CV b/c I do that all the time. If I remember correctly from when I had Fios, you can as well.

Yes, you can. Just as a side note, depending on what the show is, I try to tape them if they play at a later time so I don't run into this problem (works with the Real Housewives lol)

thank you!!! DH set the DVR to tape 2 things tonight, but i invited people over to watch a movie i taped on the DVR! i wasnt sure if i had to cancel or not. lol.

Yeah, you can watch a DVR'd program with 2 shows recording. Just make sure the tv is turned to one of the channels that you're DVR'ing.
Ex, you want to DVR channel 2 and 4 but watch DVR. Make sure the tv is programed to either 2 or 4. You can't record 2 seperate programs while watching a 3rd channel.

You only have 2 tuners.. So if you record 2, you have to watch either show that is being recorded or an already DVR'ed show, or on demand stuff
Its impossible to record 2 live shows and watch a 3rd live show.
