BTDT Sesame Place moms
We leave for Sesame Place tomorrow morning, we are staying two nights. Our plan right now is to leave LI tomorrow morning at 7 AM, stop for breakfast on the way, and then spend all day at the park. On Monday we were thinking of doing the Please Touch Museum or the Philadelphia Zoo, and then on Tuesday doing either the Crayola Crayon Factory or Adventure Aquarium before we head home around 5 PM. Do you think this is to much in so little time? My older DS is 2, i'm not worried about my 3 month old. Can you please share what other side trips you did when you went to Sesame? TIA!

Re: BTDT Sesame Place moms
We just came back from sesame place. My girls are almost 3 and just 1.
If you can I would do sesame place on Monday its much less crowded during the week. We stayed all day went back to our hotel late afternoon and than went back to sesame for a few more hours to do the dry rides.
The following day we did the please touch museum which was very crowded. We stayed for about 3 hours. We were going to do the zoo but it was waaaayyy too hot out. We decided we were going to go back to sesame (we had a 2 day pass) but than there was a tornado watch so we scratched that. We just hung out by the pool.
I think with a 2 year old it might be alot to do in 3 days. I know for my girls they were so exhausted from sesame place and very cranky from skipping their nap.

Re: BTDT Sesame Place moms
We just got back from sesame place and my DS (4) loved it. I think it was the perfect age for him because he could do almost all of the rides and was really excited with the shows.
We got the 2 day pass and spread out our trip. The first day we did the character lunch (my favorite part), dry rides and 2 shows. After 3 hours he was so overwhelmed we left and he took a nap at the hotel. We planned to go back at night but the weather didn't cooperate.
The next day we did all the water rides and went back to the hotel for lunch and a nap/rest. We went back later for more water rides and the parade and another show. My DS was so exhausted from Sesame Place that his voice was hoarse.
Maybe you want to go to the Please Touch Museum or Zoo on your way there to break up the trip and then you can go to Sesame Place first thing Monday morning and have the entire day. If you do the character breakfast you can get into the park early. We hit so much traffic that it took about 3 1/2 hours to get there on a Thursday.

I went with my 3 and 4 y/o nephews 2 years ago. We did a full day at Sesame Place and the next at Crayola factory. That wore them out enough between the driving and all that.

BTDT Sesame Place moms
Thank you ladies! We ended up doing the Please Touch Museum today- it was awesome!! DS loved it. We had an early dinner and are now back in the hotel for the night, DS is exhausted. Tomorrow we plan on doing Sesame Place, and we are going to leave right after breakfast on Tuesday to come home. That seems to be more than enough for this trip.
