toddler sizing question
DD turned 1 at the end of april. I'm thinking about ordering stuff for next summer from children's place. She's in 12-18 month stuff now (a little over 20 pounds) and is usually pretty true to size. Does 2t sound right for next summer?

I think that Children's Place runs really small, so if you are intent on ordering her stuff for next summer I would go with a 3T.
For me, ordering season-specific items (winter/summer) has never really worked out. DD has pretty much been true to size since birth and I still have fit issues with certain things (width of the collar, etc.).

toddler sizing question
I never order far ahead like that cause the few times I have it never works out.
My DS is 18M and is in 2T tops (slightly big but will get us throug the summer) and he is only in 12 month bottoms. He is skinny so anything bigger falls off him.

id be careful with ordering early.
my ds is average in height and weight and wears the same shorts from last summer
1yr old- 18 months
2yrs old- 18 month shorts
shirts he wore 18 month last summer and this summer 2t or 3t depending on brand

Never ordered early. Never know when they are going to have a growth spurt. Plus, new styles come out and a lot of places are pretty inexpensive with clothes. Maybe even wait till the end of summer when stuff goes onsale.

toddler sizing question
I don't buy for next season either. He's 2.5 and still wearing 24 month shorts & 2T pants. His shirts are mostly 3T though depending on style.
