I LOVE the name Cadence, it was top of my list of girls names when I was pregnant. The spelling is RIDICULOUS though. If Donda was his Mom's name, then that is sweet, bc didnt she recently pass away?

I wouldn't be surprised.
Donda was his mothers name. She passed away while getting liposuction a few years ago.

I have friends that named their daughter Kaydence, I don't think their spelling is ridiculous though I like it.

Yupp- Donda was his mom's name. Some sites are also reporting "Kaidence Georgia Donda West" since Kanye's from Georgia. Not sure which is correct. I think they are planning to call her "Kai". I don't hate it as much as I expected.
