11 month old still not sleeping through the night
My 11 month old DS still gets up 2-4 times a night! We tried everything, even let him cry it out, which worked a bit, but once he learned to stand up in the crib, he won't go back down and cries louder and louder until we come in to lay him down. He knows how to sit himself down on his own when he is cruising in the living room but he has never done it in his crib. Any advice? Please help, we have another little one on the way, coming in October and I hope we can get my DS to sleep the nights before our new arrival.

I'd try CIO again... not the progressive method either. I'd just straight up let him cry himself back to sleep.
There's no way I'd be able to ride that out. I'd need him sleep trained before new baby came.

CIO! I have to do it again every now and then cause my DS will have eppisode of not sleeping.
My DS is a stubborn little guy too! One night he stood in his crib and cried for over an hour. I just watched him on the monitor to make sure he was safe. He even fell alseep standing up but then he would wake when he would start to lie down.
If I go in it makes it worse. He has had a few nights where he has night terrors....its a completely different cry and those nights I have to sleep on the floor next to his crib holdign his hand through the slats....those are rough but thank god its not often and I have learned the cry for them.
