General Hospital
Is anyone else having a hard time time watching Todd Manning as Franco? Where are they going with this? I can't take it!

My mom and i were talking about this then she clarified for me that...They're cousins but they don't have any blood shared between them.
AJ is Monica's son but Alan isn't his birth father.
Jason & Franco are Alan's but Susan Moore is their mother.
So Franco and AJ are half brothers. Technically speaking Michael and Lauren are cousins but there is no incest if they hook up.

I am really having a hard time with these characters.
1) Todd is weird as Franco.
2) So Sylis comes. We know that Clay and John looked alike. Sylis looks like Clay. They are all freaked out by that. But, no one is mentioning John?
3) Lauren/kiki-So annoying. Even if it's minimal blood mixing it would be borderline incest. Gross. Starr also annoyed me.
Also, I don't know if it's because I am a Mom now.. but, why do they always have to mess with babies? Why does every kid get hurt or have cancer? I don't find that entertaining? And if they use his cancer as a way for Sam to go running to Sylis I am going to throw up.

I just started watching a few months ago and I'm hooked. I think they made Danny sick to keep Franco around and maybe turn him good?? Danny will probably need blood or a bone marrow transplant and since Franco is Danny's father's twin he'll be the only one to give it...or some silly thing like that.

They are definitely trying to work Franco in as a regular character not a pyscho...all of his craziness was just a "misunderstanding" and they are setting up so in a month he will be working at Kelly's and have a legitimate love interest and just be another crazy Quartermaine.
I hate how he is not even attempting to not be Todd lol, no effort at all and he is one strange looking man, no comparison to originals Franco or Jason!

1- Yup. I always hated the Franco character so I'm even more annoyed that they brought it back with old-Todd in the role.
2- GH is not legally allowed to mention any of the former OLTL characters since they are OLTL property and the show is back in another capacity.
3- ITA. I was starting to get used to Starr but this Kiki role is just stupid.
And ITA about the sick kid thing. Josslyn was sick, Kristina was sick when she was a baby, Jake hit by a car and killed, Michael shot in the head, almost all of the kids have been kidnapped.... it's so old!

It's awful. My DH only vaguely pays attention when I watch while he is in & out of the room or reading a book & even says that Port Charles has the infant mortality rate of a 3rd world nation.
They really don't know what to do with kids past the "who's the daddy" storyline unless they are in danger, and then they age them so they can put them in a relationship.
Michael was the only one that they actually left pretty close to age for a while. His biggest story lines were getting kidnapped
(repeatedly) or trying to get his parent s back together. But then I guess the writers had enough of that & shot him in the head AND aged him, true rites of passage for soap kids.

You may not go back this far, but BJ killed was killed in an accident, Maxie was poisoned & need a heart transplant from BJ, Lulu needed something (a bone marrow transplant?) from Nikolas, and let's not frequent the countless miscarriages.

She looks so much older than she is to me. Sheis 41. Laura Wright (Carly) is 42 & Lisa Lo Cicero (Olivia) is 43, and she looks so much older than them.

The Franco character was a creepy SOB b/c of James Franco - he just played it SO well w/ the crazy eyes and the voice and that whole I can be smoldering hot or a total headcase depending on my mood thing he has going -
Todd Manning as Franco is LAME - that actor is SO recognized - and they already brought him to GH as Todd, it's like bringing Steve Burton in to play a different GH character.
I am SO aggravated w/ GH lately - and the whole Brit/Sabrina/Patrick thing? Those are some serioiusly STUPID medical professionals !!!
