I'm trying all diff things with #2. With #1 I used Born Free and Playtex Drop-Ins- which I loved!

I keep going back and forth with the glass bottle. How durable are they? Did you like them? Did you use a sleeve?

Re: Glass Bottles

I have used Born Free glass bottles for DD since birth and she is 19 months now, the bottles still look great! You will need to get new nipples in between but I think that's the case with all bottles.

I did break two bottles at once because I tripped over something in my sleep deprivated state but never since then.

I used the born free too.

I was able to use some bottles from DS for DD. Very durable & I boil them every so often to prevent stuff from growing in the bottles.

I took off the sleeves (I got them free).

I broke a bottle once by dropping it on a tile floor in a mall. That was the only time a bottle broke.

I use Dr. Browns glass bottles for ds who is now 8 months, at first I thought they would be too heavy for him to hold on his own, but he is fine with them and I love them.

Re: Glass Bottles

They used glass bottles for my grandson. They were Lifefactory glass bottles which had a silicone sleeve. They bought them mainly on amazon. He just turned a year and they didn't break any bottles and they are still in great shape.

Re: Glass Bottles

I had born free glass with ds - they were great... dr browns I thought I'd tollerate the system but really couldnt stand cleaning the pieces so I switched.

With Dd I then found a deal online on Pura - stainless steel baby bottles- they were compatible with MAM nipples - and I LOVE them...

the glass is a little heavy. I never had a problem with breakage... except the one time I accidentally used a knife at diner to stir the bottle and it nicked the inside..

I use both the born free and evenflo. I love the evenflo glass since they fit on my medela pump and they are so easy to wash at work, home etc... Ds has no problem with either nipple
DS is 8 weeks and we haven't broken on bottle mind you he's exclusively breastfeed and only is getting bottles when i'm away from him
