Kim Kardashian - Paparazzi Threats
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to unknown cameramen following her around. She’s probably even called some of them up on occasion, too.
Yet, it seems the mother-to-be experienced quite the scare yesterday. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star turned to her Twitter account to voice some serious concerns following a traumatizing run-in with the paparazzi.
She tweeted:
“I wouldn't let the paps get a pic of me today & they threatened my life & said if I continue to block shots then they will make my world dangerous to live in! How dare they threaten my life & my unborn child! This has gotten way out of control!”
Just horrible!! Kim continued, explaining the situation in more detail:
“Yesterday 4 cars boxed me in. One in front, behind, & one on each side just to have me drive at their speed so they can snap through the window. Its really so scary what they are legally allowed to get away with!”
YIKES! We’d be frightened, too!
She said:
“For years I've always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn't flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them? Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me.”
Calling California’s legal code to action, Kim recognized the need for preventative measures while also acknowledging the fact that she leads a life in the public eye:
“What will it take for there to be laws put in place to prevent this behavior? …I get I live a public life. I live my life on a reality show for the world to see. I love my life, but when the cameras stop, that doesn't mean I don't want a break too. I'm 32 yrs old now, about to be a mom. I'm not 25 clubbing around LA anymore. There's no excuse for threats & stalking!”
The reality star isn’t the first celebrity to be hounded by the papz. In fact, a good number of celeb car accidents have been caused by photographers chasing them on the roads. While we love new, A-lister photos as much as anyone, we NEVER want to see their lives jeopardized.
Everything should have a limit — this, in particular.
WOW - that is just plain crazy not to mention so unsafe for her and her baby and the other cars on the road....

Paparazzi take it to far. Being a public person doesn't mean you give up all your private life. She should be able to drive her car safely.

I really don't understand how they get away with this. Nobody else would! Something needs to be done soon before someone gets seriously hurt or killed.

Ugh this is horrible!
The other day Nicole Ritchie put a pap on blast because he dropped his 1 y/o daughter in the airport to get a shot of Nicole. He just let his daughter cry on the floor while he took photos.

We need better laws to prevent some of their dangerous stunts.

This is what Nicole Ritchie posted on Instagram the other day.
This paparazzi dragged his poor, sweet little girl on my plane from NYC to LA. As he ran her off the plane, he dropped her ON THE FLOOR of LAX as she laid there, crying her eyes out.. Just to get his shot. #Heartbreaking #FatherOfTheYear

She has been gracious for years with papparazzi? The papparazzi made her relevant, made her famous. Certainly no one should threathen her pregnant or not, but unfortunately SHE created this, be careful what you wish for.
The papp leaving his baby to cry is a pig!

I think there should definitely laws to regulate paparazzi behavior. Stalking and threatening is not ok! Neither is boxing someone in with their cars! Look at what happened to princess Diana. Yes, celebrities have no expectation of privacy but hey should never have to be in danger because of paparazzi behavior .

A couple of years ago I was in the East Village and saw paparzzi literally stop their cars and leave them (with the doors wide open) in the middle of oncoming traffic just to get a pic of Jessica Alba and her family looking at apartment buildings. It was the most unreal thing I have ever seen. They could have caused a SERIOUS accident all to get a picture. I agree that the media may have created Kim's career, but that doesn't give anyone the right to cause and/or threaten a dangerous situation for a pregnant woman.

Not goign to defend the guy cause we really don't know what happened but when my DS is having a tanturm this is what he looks like and the only way to get him out of it is to let him go for a minute or two. As long as he is not banging his head he's fine. So based on this picture alone I am not going to judge and call the guy a pig, asshole etc.

She is only bent NOW because they are taking unflattering pics. She's an asshole. It's only good for her when she looks good, now that she dresses like an ass and can't accept her pregnancy body she's bent. Too bad doll!

I know this is mean but, I think she is being dramatic and I don't feel sorry for her at all. The paparazzi MADE her famous - she was a media HOG she practically posed herself all day every day and ate up the attention. She doesn't like it now because she looks like s*%(T and everyone is laughing at her. So, what does she do - cry POOR ME - sorry - I don't have any tears for her...

Yup. Totally agree.
I do agree that the paps have gotten out of hand over the years. They take things too far but they do so because of jerks like the Kim Kardashian. They let them know their every move and where they will be to get more pics and attention. Then that becomes not enough and the paps want more shots and think they can harass all celebrities. Kim K just wants the paps to stop taking bad pics of her so she can sell her own "brand" to magazines on her terms.
