napping at daycare question

DS is starting at daycare tomorrow. I'm obviously nervous, but I know he'll be fine. But I'm worried about him napping. At home, DS sleeps fine in his crib at night, but will only nap in his swing. Well, at daycare he will have to nap in a crib. Will he just adapt? I keep thinking I'll be picking him up each day having never napped, and I'm worrying nonstop about it. Anyone have a similar experience and it worked out ok?

I worried so much about DD napping at daycare too. She started at 1, and wasn't in a swing then, but I wondered how she would ever sleep on those little cots ?? But she did - and slept great, napping for 2 hours. I think they just adapt and go with the flow. The first day or 2 will be weird for them, but they will nap.

Don't worry. He will be fine. I worried about that for both boys and they both napped fine.

They always seem to nap at daycare. Ds was colicky and his first day at daycare he almost never cried.

DD's day care teachers are like magic workers. They get her to nap better then I ever could! Nothing to worry about!

DD started at 4 mos and I was concerned BC she liked the swing. They adjust and I guess the teachers are used to the transition from doing it so much. Baby will be fine! :)
