How do I break this habit?

I have gotten in the habit of putting DS in my bed early in the morning so he'll go back to sleep for another hour or so. This morning I fed him around 6:30 and tried to put him back down and he just kept talking very loud. When I put him in my bed I was able to get him to go to sleep (sometimes he does on his own and sometimes he falls asleep if I atop him from taking the paci out). I don't want him to get used to always coming in my bed in the am. Any suggestions?

Don't put him in lol. He might protest, but he will get over it. My girls wake and talk a bit too then fall back to sleep. But I keep them in the cribs. Id rather have them doing that then the alternative of them crying. My DD just got over an allergy attack and I was holding her to go to sleep because she was so sick. This was a few days after taking away pacis so it was all new. She cries when I put her down now, but I cant keep the habit of holding her to sleep forever. She settled after about 20 min.

I figured that I can't put him in the bed to begin with but I guess I'm just so desperate to go back to sleep because he's not sleeping well at night Chat Icon

Re: How do I break this habit?

I know. I took pacis away because they were waking too much for them. So now they roll and sleep on their bellies and Im up checking if their faces are in the mattress all night (cant tell on the monitor). Then they get up at 5:30! It was 6:30 for awhile. I want that back!! We cant win. And Im SURE once they settle back into 6:30 they will cut teeth or something and get back off track.Chat Icon I'm a zombie at work with a 24/7 headache.
