When did you have your first PP...
Drink?  
Those who are BF, when did you start drinking again? Did you pump and dump, or you just timed it so you had enough time for the alcohol to pass through?
I need a glass of wine after being home with a toddler and a newborn for 3 weeks!!!

When did you have your first PP...
I was told in a BF class that there's no need to pump & dump, once the alcohol is out of your system it won't be in the breast milk. I just timed it out for when DS went to sleep. Enjoy!

2 weeks but my girls were in the nicu. At that point I just timed it correctly around my pumping. Once they were term (hit their due date). I was more comfortable following the LC rules of don't feed your baby if you would not drive a car.

The day i came home from the hospital! Timed it with my feedings. Just one drink, and it was well deserved! Enjoy!

GO FOR IT!!!!!!! You deserve it! A well timed glass of wine is what gets me through many days. 
I would only pump and dump if I felt tipsy and very engorged. Otherwise, feed the baby then have that drink! You'll both be fine.

Do it! I did not pump and dump because I wasn't getting drunk it was a nice cold beer at a BBQ or just a glass of wine at dinner.

I want one so bad but I'm nervous Bc I'm still feeding on demand and sometimes it's every 1.5 hours or up to 4 hours. You never know!

omg, I was so strict the first time around, I probably didn't have my first glass of wine until she was 6 months old.
If I do it again though it will be much, much earlier! I would go for whenever she gives you the longest stretch of sleep (after her 'last' night feeding I guess). You can always express a little and then use those strips to see if you're good to go. If not you can just pump and dump.

This! DS was probably around 3 1/2 months. Once he started going longer stretches between feedings. I never dumped my milk but we went out for dinner a few times where we had a babysitter so i had a glass of wine knowing i wouldn't feed him for several hours. I haven't had any hard liquor (except for a sip of DH's drink).
