Celiac/Gluten Sensitive
I'm at a loss right now with my DD's dietary issues. Something she is eating is making her bloated to the point where she has trouble walking by the end of the day. We've ruled out any physical issues, and her ped. didn't seem to want to pursue it further, so I'm looking into it on my own while trying to find a new ped.
We tried cutting out dairy since she had milk protein allergy as an infant, but that didn't help. Now I'm cutting out gluten, and it seems to be working, but I'm just not sure.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Are there certain clear cut signs I can look for? She is going to see the new ped. soon, just looking to ease my mind in the meantime.

Gluten sensitivities often tend to cause major bloating. They can also cause terrible stomach pains and rashes. What kids of signs are you looking for? If she seems to be improving like you said, I would take that as your biggest sign, and continue to do what you're doing. It will only get better from here in out! Good for you for taking it into your own hands when ped did not want to pursue!
