Ugh. I was so mad at the ending. I thought they'd get a call that the lawyer was found dead. Damn cliffhangers suck!

I can't even deal with how they ended it! I think this time they are really going to make Olivia the victim. I read somewhere that Mariska hasn't signed for next season yet so I wonder what will happen
That guy gave me a serious case of chills.
And his lawyer...I hated her so much! I liked her MUCH better in Can't Hardly Wait

I was thinking the same thing. I knew she had only signed back up for a short period of time after Christopher Meloni left; I got a feeling last night after it ended somehting terrible will happen and she'll end up not coming back to work.
I knew his lawyer looked familar; I had to look her up mid episode to figure out where I knew her from!

I totally forgot that she is off next two days
This is one show I'm so invested in.
I forget that they are characters and whenever I go to the city, I expect to see them solving a case.

I was hoping too that the lawyer was going to end up dead somewhere. Actually kind of hoping for it!
I'm thinking the might make Olivia's boyfriend discover her. I'm so annoyed. When will it be back on the air??!!!

I also think they are finally going to make her a victim. But it annoyed me that after what happened earlier in the episode, and knowing the guy was out, NOBODY thought, "hmm, maybe he'll do it again..."

Totally agree. I disliked how when she was *almost* a victim in the episode where she went uncover in a prison, they dwelled on it forever. She's a strong character and I think it would be a shame to she her victimized.
I actually like this cast better than when Chris Meloni was on

I haven't watched the show in ages and just happened to caught an episode. That guys totally gave my the creeps and I was surprised with how much creepiness they eluded to on the show!
ETA : The lawyer is Lauren Ambrose, she was also on the HBO Show "Six Feet Under"
