Huge house fire
In North Bellmore. I just watched a neighbor's house pretty much burn to the ground. I don't know the family, but I think they had kids  I hope they all got out ok. It is still burning.
I'm all shaken up over it

How awful Colleen! I heard sirens when we were eating dinner around 8, and then I was in Stop & Shop and heard two of the employees say something about a house fire. I hope everyone made it out safely.

I know all too well what that's like. I hope they are all safe. Salvation army is a huge help in situations like this...it's not the same of course...but it will help for now.

I walked by this morning and the whole house was destroyed. But the other neighbors were saying that everyone got out ok, thank God!
I just kept thinking of those poor people. They just lost everything. Ugh, how do you pick up the pieces?

So sad. A house fire is my biggest fear ever! A house was completely burned to the ground in my town, around the corner from me, about 2 weeks ago. Our local Catholic school and Church were sending out emails to help the family/children because they lost everything. I mean everything.
