sesame place on a holiday weekend? am I nuts?
I was hoping to go for July 6th & 7th since my sons bday is the 8th. DH was on board until he realized the 4th is thursday and many people won't be going to work the following friday. Do you guys really think it will be that mobbed? anyone been there at that time?
ETA: I heard dutch wonderland is also close by. how far from sesame is it?

I live close by and im told to stay away from there on holidays. Dutch wonderland is about 1.5 hours away.

We went to Sesame the weekend before Halloween last year. The water rides weren't open, but the regular rides were, and it was mobbed. The lines were so long, and the rides are so short, that it wasn't enjoyable for my DS, and that's the whole point. We said we wouldn't go back when it was crowded.
I personally wouldn't go over 4th of July weekend. But I'm very anti-crowds.
(We also went to Sesame the beginning of October for the Halloween-fest they have, and it was awesome...the lines moved quickly that early in the month! It's a cute park and my DS had a lot of fun.)

we went to sesame on july 4th weekend 2 years ago and memorial day weekend last year. I did not thing it was too horrible. We will be going thismemorial weekend as well.
