When did DC crawl/ sit up
When did your DC sit up without help or falling over? And when did they crawl? My dd is a little over 7 months, and she still falls over while sitting up, even when I put blankets around her bottom.
What about crawling? I feel like she's no where near crawling, but friends of mind who have a DC younger or the same age is ahead of her...

When did DC crawl/ sit up
DS was around 6 months when he first started to sit on his own, but probably 7 when he was really steady with it. he didn't crawl until 10 months. don't worry!

I don't remember when she sat up - prob around 7 months.
DD is 11 months and STILL doesn't crawl - she scoots on her butt.
I wouldn't worry. If you're really concerned, talk to your ped. I made myself nuts and took her to PT, etc, but now I'm feeling better about her scooting.

DD is weird and does some things early and some things late! She sat up just before 5 months and once she did she almost never fell. She stood pretty well at 6 months but didn't cruise until 9.5 months and just started scooting on her butt a little before a year. She doesn't crawl, doesn't pull up, and doesn't get to sitting on her own either. The ped was a bit thrown by the inconsistency and suggested waiting until 15 months before trying for PT to see how she progresses.
I would just keep practicing a lot and if you're really concerned talk to your ped but I don't think 7 months is all that late.

Ds sat up by himdelf between 4-5 months. And started crawling between 6-7. He actually was cruisign before he was crawling and it cared me because I figured he would be walking shortly after crusing. He cruised at exactly 6 months crawled a few weeks later and then walked at 9 months.

She started to crawl at about 7-8 months. Sitting up, I think about 6-7 months.

DD sat up unsupported without falling over at 5 months old. But she is now 8 months old and still not crawling. She does move around a lot, but mostly just from leaping forward, twisting, turning, rolling. No actual crawling.

I want to say DS was 7 months when he didn't topple over sitting up, he still kind of does at times but steady for the most part. He is not crawling yet, (he just rolls), he has more of an interest in walking though (he's 8.5 months) so I think he is going to skip it altogether.
ETA i wouldn't worry, every baby does things at their own pace!

When did DC crawl/ sit up
I want to say DS was about 5-6 months when he could sit up unsupported. He was a very late crawler though. Didn't really start until 10 months and even then he didn't crawl...he did the military crawl -- dragging himself along the floor using his elbows.
He took his first steps right before his 1st birthday and was walking well a few weeks after his 1st birthday.

Dd was about 5M when she was sitting unassisted. She started crawling at 6.5M and took her first steps at 7.5M

DS was 11 months (8 months adjusted) before he sat up by himself. I thought it would never happen, but the day they were coming to do an EI evaluation, he did it on his own.
He did not walk until 17 months (14 months adjusted).
Every child is different. They will do it when they are ready. I used to drive myself crazy comparing DS to other kids and now I just don't compare anymore.

Hmmm- I want to say sat up unassisted at 5 months. I am a bad mommy though and don't recall exaclty.
I know she crawled for the first time at 8 months. She wasn't a huge fan of crawling though- it seemed to annoy her! So she just decided to go right to walking at 9 months!

DD sat up unsupported when I placed her there around 6 months, and got herself into a sitting position around 7 months, then crawled at 7.5 months. At 10.5 months, she's still crawling,with no interest in walking!

My older DD sat up without support at 6 mos, but didn't crawl till 10 mos.
My LO is 6 1/2 mos and does not sit unsupported at all - not even close! She doesn't even seem to want to! She likes to lay on her back, roll onto her belly, back and forth and all over the place. If I try to practice sitting with her, she just slithers down so she can move around. It's kinda cute.
My ped said she doesn't expect babies to sit fully erect, unsupported until 9 mos.

He sat up unassisted a little before 6 months and didn't crawl until he was 10 months old!

I don't recall sitting but, both boys crawled and pulled to stand at 7 1/2 months so I would think 5-6 months?

tiny tot sat up on her own a little after 6months. she started to crawl a few days before she turned 8 months. every baby is different. dont stress about it

Dd sat up around 4-5 months. 6 months was completely steady. 9 months to crawl and cruise and actually was crusiing first maybe around 8.5 months. Standing 8 months.

DD sat up unassisted around 6 months but she never ever crawled - at least not conventionally. She started scooting around on her butt around 10.5 months maybe? She'll be a year old on 5/11 and it's almost independently walking. So not sure what any of these "milestones" means - every child develops at their own pace - try not to worry (easier said then done i know )

DS started crawling around 7 months. He army crawls not up on his knees. He's 8 months now and until last week he was still wobbly sitting up. All of a sudden last week he figured out how to go from crawling to sitting up and he's steady now.
