Jennifer Lawrence as Ana Steele?
Not sure how I feel about this....
I honestly don't think its very reliable. I just can't imagine her getting naked like that for a part.

Can we expect to see Jennifer Lawrence in 50 Shades of Grey? According to several reports, J-Law is the number one choice and who movie producers want to play Anastasia Steele. While we think that would be pretty epic, GossipCop.com is shutting down the rumor saying it's totally not true. According to the site, a source close to J-Law said there's nothing true to this story. Bummer! That doesn't mean it still can't happen though! Jen isn't the only actress to get tossed around on the 50 Shades rumor mill. There was once talk Harry Potter star Emma Watson would be in the movie. News just broke a few days ago that Alex Pettyfer will be in the upcoming flick too.

Alex Pettyfer was NOT cast for the role of Grey so I take this whole article with a grain of salt. Sure, she might be the first choice of the director, and I think she'd be a good fit for the role, but that doesn't mean she'll agree to it. I can't see her taking a role like that.
ETA: Also, she's got way too much of a mouth on her... poor Mr. Grey would be exhausted from paddling her in the red room.

Eh. I still think it should be a series on Cable. I think it could do really well. Put some unknowns in it.

True! Or Hulu/Netflix. The shows they are coming out with are pretty good- and they don't have to worry about sex/vulgarity/violence.
But they'll never do this, unless HBO options it. And even then, I think it's too hyped up to put some no name actors in it.

Yep. I am sure she is not desperate for roles as she has hunger games sequel coming out soon and she is going to be in the x-men movie.

Agreed. I also wish they would cast unknowns. At this point, people are bound to be disappointed no matter who they cast.
