Exactly.
They both acted stupidly, but I don't lose respect for her because of it. She made a stupid decision while under the influence. I'm more shocked (and annoyed) by the driving drunk rather than the entitled attitude.

"Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I'm very sorry for my behavior."

I never really cared for her but she was drunk. Ive had many douche moments when Im drunk, I might have even said something like "do you know who I am" and I am a nobody LMFAO.
I like the statement she released, LOL. She must be so embarassed.

I don't hold anything he or she said while drunk against them.
But I DO hold it against them VERY MUCH that they both decided that it would be ok for him to get behind the wheel that drunk and put everyone's lives in jeopardy. There is no excuse. They had every option open to them.
Everyone makes mistakes, but I feel they are too old and should know better than to make this kind of mistake.

ITA.. im not a bawler by any means and even my husband and I cab it when we know we are going to get drunk. Or plan ahead to stay with family/friends if its a house party.
We were actually talking about my bday and how we are going to get a car service since it will be at a club.

I have heard for years from a very credible source that her 'good girl' act is just that - an act. She is apparently very calculating and manipulative, and is well-known in Hollywood circles as a raging *****. She created a persona for herself that she sticks to carefully....but I guess a certain amount of alcohol brought that crashing down. I'm interested to see how she spins this in the aftermath.
I have always gotten this feeling about her and like I said above I'm not a fan. Glad my impression of her has been confirmed
